Real World Situation: To promote student leadership, many schools have established peer mediation programs. Mediators are volunteers and they are trained in conflict resolution. Our school had the mediators present several imaginary situations for the entire student body so they could see how it works and be aware of its existence. The number of conflicts in the building, has since decreased.
